Headlines like "Big news overnight" or "About to soar" are everywhere. Read to the end, though, and you often still don't know why a stock moved.
Paper Trail Korea picks the biggest movers in the Korean market and checks whether each move has a documented reason: an official filing, a number, or nothing at all.
How it works
- Prices, trading value, filings from DART (Korea's official disclosure system) and news headlines are collected automatically.
- Each mover is sorted by evidence: confirmed by a filing, reported only in the press, or unexplained.
- The editor reviews every post before publishing and sometimes adds a short note.
Who runs it
An individual investor who collects and analyzes Korean market data. We never tell readers to buy or sell, and we disclose any position in a stock we cover.
What we don't do
- Buy or sell calls, price targets
- Unverified rumors
- Exaggerated headlines written for clicks
